There’s nothing better than receiving news that you’ve been shortlisted for an award, apart from when you’re told that you’ve been shortlisted for two awards!
We’ve had a fantastic year working on a wide variety of projects, residential and commercial where we’ve reached new heights of creativity and really pushed those high-quality design boundaries with our clients, planning departments and builders alike, so this really is the cherry on top for us.
Two of our projects have been shortlisted for the Build It Magazine awards, which is a renowned national awards ceremony within our industry, hosted at The Hilton in London. The awards have been running for the last 11 years and recognise not just the projects, but the services and products used to create these stunning buildings.
Martin, Michael and the team are delighted about the news and commented, “We’re really proud of both of these projects which showcase our design capabilities in their own way. Oak Tree House is a new-build that has a really contemporary feel and has been designed to be able to cater for our clients in their retirement years and be able to adapt with them. Dingley Road has been extended and fully refurbished to create high-quality open plan & accessible internal and external space for our clients too, and yet again has the ability to adapt their needs into their retirement years.”
Our projects shortlisted for the awards are as follows >
Best Architect for a Self-Build Project – Oak Tree House
Best Architect for an Extension Project – Dingley Road
The awards ceremony will take place at a special gala dinner on Friday 25th November which will be hosted by Mark Steel. Michael and Martin will be making the trip down to London to celebrate this latest significant achievement for Fibre Architects.
